West Tamar Wonders
Travel along the tranquil West Tamar appreciating the panoramic view of the valley from Brady's Lookout used once by the bushranger ‘Mathew Brady”. For a unique experience visit Seahorse World , Platypus House and walk through a display of Tasmanian Butterflies. Visit Beaconsfield Gold mine and museum and return by the rivers edge to the unusual A-framed cable truss Batman Bridge, Artisan Pottery and Auld Kirk Church – a historic convict site passing through some wine grape growing areas Finish with a coach tour of Grindelwald Swiss Village before returning to Launceston.

Cradle Mountain National Park - 8.30am–5.30pm
Travel through Sheffield the town of the Murals nestled under spectacular Mt Roland to Cradle Mountain National Park part of Tasmania’s world Heritage area, a wilderness of pristine forest and glacial lakes. Visit the information centre before continuing to Dove Lake. Watch for wallabies and experience the many short walks through the temperate rainforest of this premier National Park before returning back to Launceston late afternoon. Lunch at Cradle Mountain at own cost.
